Defragmentation

Raxco PerfectDisk !

If you install a software on a computer, Windows stores the files in different locations. This effect called fragmentation drastically reduces performance. We can state with certainty that any computer will be brought to its knees at some time due to fragmentation.

It comes as no surprise that Microsoft strongly recommends to counteract this effect. The procedure is called "defragmentation". It re-organises the hard disc and arranges the scattered data in blocks. Drastic effects on performance may be achieved: in large companies, defragmentation resulted in performance increases of up to 40%!

This leads to enormous reductions in costs: if a company’s hard discs are heavily fragmented, support costs will explode as users constantly call the help desk and thus tie up expensive IT experts. Even worse: often a decision to purchase a new computer is taken although defragmentation would have done the trick.

When defragmenting, count on BRAIN FORCE SOFTWARE. We are using the leading method: only PerfectDisc from BRAIN FORCE SOFTWARE's partner Raxco received certification for Windows 2000 and Windows Server 2003 by Microsoft and may be fully integrated into the Microsoft Active Directory Services.

With PerfectDisk from Raxco, we may substantially reduce your support and acquisition costs – you therefore will benefit from a markedly lower TCO (total cost of ownership) and increased productivity.
