Tips for your application
Bookshelves are stacked with volumes on job applications; you have probably glanced through some of them. We want to contribute some practical tips which have been developed by our recruiting and HR staff:
Reading helps… The top priority is to carefully read the job requirements and match these against own skills and experience! If you cannot assess you skills correctly, you may wish to contact the HR department prior to applying. This saves time and effort.
Online, online, online! Use the major job portals, take note of specific postings which are listed in the region including a link. And, of course check out our web site!
- Which type of application do you prefer? Written or online?
Both! If you apply online, take the same care as when creating an application folder. Please do not check immediately whether the application has been received - be assured that we will take care of your application. You may want to check the status after 1 – 2 weeks.
- What are the essentials of an application to BRAIN FORCE ?
Concise covering letter in the text window of your e-mail, reference to a vacancy, stated preference for permanent or temporary employment.
Other information: Earliest availability, expected salary or rate.
Contents must include: CV with photograph, last 2 or 3 references. Project / activity summary with topics covered, key achievements (in professional as well as private life), references.
Quality, not quantity! This applies to online and offline applications. Please refrain from sending zipped Word documents, PDF is appropriate and secure. Limit yourselves to 1.2 – 2 MB and no more than 7 or 8 pages.
- What do we look for in a job interview?
Regardless of the position, your experience and personality: obtain basic information on BRAIN FORCE HOLDING, explain your interest in the vacancy and have a restrained appearance. If applicants are seeking an innovative challenge and demonstrate their commitment in the job interview, their chances are good.
We are looking forward to receiving your application!
