The establishment of its own subsidiary in the US is an important step
within BRAIN FORCE's expansion strategy. In the United States, more and more
companies bank on IT organisations which actually are productive business units.
Having said that, a fast ROI through reduced Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) is of
the essence. "With our highly standardized software products, we relate exactly
with these market requirements, which gives us a tremendous growth potential in
the US", explains Helmut Fleischmann, CEO and founder of the company.
"Especially with our Packaging Robot packaging solution, we can offer a
product which ensures fast and cost efficient migration to the new Microsoft
Vista operating system for our customers. In the US, the launch of Vista is one
of the major growth drivers on the IT market. Also, there is a trend towards
asset management solutions. With our Net Organizer network documentation
software, you get enhanced transparency of the IT infrastructure and the related
TCO. Altogether, we see an annual growth rate of 30 percent or so for our
products in the US", says Mr. Fleischmann.
Thanks to a 30 percent shareholding in Kemp Technologies Inc, BRAIN FORCE
was able to gain valuable experience of the US market. "Kemp's large clientele
is the basis for us to sell our products, and we are confident that we will have
some success shortly", adds Mr. Fleischmann.
Through its newly established US subsidiary, the BRAIN FORCE group will set
up a broad network of partners including technology partners, system
integrators, managed services providers and sales partners. What is more, the
group will have its own New York-based sales team. The group's long-term goal is
to become a leading provider of holistic IT management software solutions for
medium-sized companies and the public sector in the US.
The group was able to attract an expert with a proven track record. In his
role as Executive Vice President North America, Cristian Anastasiu will be
responsible for the US business. Prior to joining BRAIN FORCE, the 47 year old
graduate engineer worked as a Sales Director for Cisco Systems, where he first
set up the Financial Services sales team and then took on responsibility for
sales in the range of USD 100 million. After that, he served as a Director of
Worldwide Sales Operations for the network provider in charge of Global
Accounts, Advanced Services Sales and PMI. Cristian Anastasiu also worked for
the software company BRAIN where he served as an MD of the US business in charge
of sales, product development and marketing, and for the Mergers &
Acquisitions firm Chapman Associates where he was involved in his role as an MD
with more than 25 company transactions in the IT environment with a total volume
of more than USD 750 million.
Against the background of his long standing IT know-how, his large network
of contacts as well as his broad experience in establishing sales partnerships,
Cristian Anastasiu is an excellent match for further extending and driving BRAIN
FORCE's US business.
