Ad-hoc: BRAIN FORCE takes over SYSTEAM GmbH
BRAIN FORCE HOLDING AG, Vienna, has signed a contract for the take over of all shares in SYSTEAM Ingenieurbüro für Datenkommunikation und Informatik GmbH with its headquarters in Langen near Frankfurt/Main. The firm is to be consolidated into the holding company by October 1st. The international IT infrastructure and business solution provider will thereby increase the range of services they can offer and strengthen their position in the growth market for managed services.

SYSTEAM, which was established in 1990, offers customers complete outsourcing of IT networks all from one single source. The profitable firm achieved sales of almost EUR 17 million with about 110 staff. SYSTEAM has about 50 customers in various industries, from medium-sized corporations to large international DAX groups. The company has subsidiaries in Munich and Hamburg as well as Amsterdam.

With the acquisition of SYSTEAM, BRAIN FORCE rounds off its strategy of providing a broad range of IT services. Thanks to SYSTEAM, BRAIN FORCE is now able to offer even global players a complete outsourcing of their IT network. For instance, as a partner of Lufthansa Systems, SYSTEAM has taken over central operation of the PC infrastructure for Lufthansa Cargo and Lufthansa Passage. Within the framework of these long-term assignments, SYSTEAM looks after 14,000 workplaces and over 500 server systems at 550 sites worldwide.

With this acquisition, BRAIN FORCE is following the industry trend of consolidating the provision of IT services. By providing managed services, BRAIN FORCE further expands its field of competence, i.e., optimising the IT infrastructure of organisations and offers more value added services. By this move, the firm will enhance customer loyalty and will achieve above average benefits from the growth market for managed services.
