Provisional figures (IAS) indicate that Brain Force Software AG has exceeded the previous year's result by a significant margin: EBIT 65,400 Euro (2001: -9.1 million) with a turnover of 58.97 million Euro (2001: 65.78 million). The EBITDA of 1.9 million Euro underscores the earnings power of the Group.

An EBIT figure of € 247,300 in the 4th quarter (Q4-2001: 101,400) represented an increase over the 3rd quarter EBIT of € 80,100 (Q3-2001: -10.83 million) by 208.9 %, thus continuing the positive trend. The EBITDA for the 4th quarter came to € 778,200 (Q4-2001: 495,800) and exceeded the figures for the 3rd quarter by 51 %.

The 4th quarter turnover of € 14.72 million represented a further increase over the previous quarter. This growth trend is confirmed by the state of the order book on the relevant date (31.12.02), valued at € 14.03 million (31.12.01: 9.42 million).

Equity capital on the balance sheet date was valued at € 11.05 million (2001: 10.28 million) and so represented an increase of 11.8 % over the previous quarter. At the end of the year, liquid assets were valued at € 2.54 million. This represents an increase of 18.2 % compared with the figures for 30.09.02.

With 39.6 %, the German companies make far and away the biggest contribution to the Group's overall turnover. With a turnover of € 16.3 million and an increase of 7.4 % compared with the previous year, TEMA Studio di Informatica in Italy contributes 27.6 % to the overall turnover.
