Microsoft confers System Integrator of the year award on BRAIN FORCE Netherlands

Amsterdam, 6th July 2011. The Dutch BRAIN FORCE subsidiary has been selected for the System Integrator of the year award for the local and regional government market and has also been nominated for the Health Care Award. These awards are conferred on Microsoft partners that have implemented exceptional or innovative solutions within the government sector during the past year based on Microsoft technology. BRAIN FORCE wins the LRG Award for the second year running.

Infrastructure optimization for the government

BRAIN FORCE was conferred the LRG Award in recognition of its dedication and commitment demonstrated in the area of Infrastructure Optimization of ICT facilities at government institutes. BRAIN FORCE cooperates within the government sector with a host of municipal and local authorities, boards of public works and health care institutions, like the province of North Brabant, the municipalities of Roosendaal and Enschede and Noorderzijlvest Board of Public Works and the province of Limburg. The organization also cooperates with the Dutch State Lottery, the Netherlands Forensic Institute (NFI) and TenneT TSO.

Marius Spijkerboer, Partner Account Manager with Microsoft on BRAIN FORCE’s award: “BRAIN FORCE ensures that government institutes work more efficiently and save costs based on the Microsoft platform. BRAIN FORCE’s success is based on a relatively simple approach: make a solid plan for ICT renewals, a so-called Infrastructure Optimization Roadmap.  This year, the organization’s success is once again testament to this approach with many wonderful new projects. BRAIN FORCE is also expert in optimally interpreting the partnership with the Microsoft organization, which is evident from the intensive cooperation in the various sectors”.

BRAIN FORCE General Manager, Sander Cornelissens’ response: “We are very proud that the LRG award has been conferred on BRAIN FORCE yet again. This acknowledgement is confirmation that we are on the right track and are creating value together with Microsoft and our customers."

Health Care Award nomination

The Health Care Award is intended for Microsoft partners that enable health care institutions to make maximum use of the Microsoft platform. “The Health Care Award nomination is also a great source of encouragement for us in pursing our ambitions within the health care sector,” said Sander Cornelissens.
